Microsoft replacing Xbox 360’s not compatible with new Firmware Update |
23rd May 2011 - 17:24 - by crazed
|
Good news to anyone thinking of upgrading their old Xbox 360. Microsoft is replacing older Xbox 360s for free to run the new firmware. They will be swapping old 2007 Xbox 360s for new versions of the Xbox 360 S with a 250GB hard drive. They will also be giving a year of Xbox Live for free to owners of the ones they replace.
The reason is, that Microsoft recently sent out a firmware update that some of the older Xbox 360's wont work with. So they are offering the swap for one that can handle future updates. Microsoft is rolling out a new firmware with a new filesystem.

I hope I get a free replacement. :)

Kinnect Injuries |

I know this article is outdated by now but I was wondering how many injuries have been happening with the new Xbox Kinnect. Remember when the Wii came out? There were tons of reports about injuries from the Wii and Its controllers being thrown in the air. Anyways, I just found it interesting and thought I would post a link I happened to find on Google.

Let me know what you think. What are your opinions about console related injuries? Share your personal experiences.
