Microsoft: 'No Plans' For Xbox 360 Blu-ray

Another day, another denial from Microsoft that its considering making a Blu-ray player for the Xbox 360. "As we have stated, we have no plans to introduce a Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360," Microsoft told GamePro. The statement was made in response to last week's rumors that Microsoft would be releasing a Blu-ray 360 later this year.
The Microsoft spokesperson went on to explain that games, not movies, were the focus for the 360, saying "Games are what drive consumers to purchase game consoles, and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available."
